A Margem unterscheidet sich von den urigen Fischlokalen der Afurada durch den Anspruch einer höheren Eleganz und besserer Ausstattung. Weisse Tischtücher und Servietten, Polsterstühle, gedämpftes Licht, Hintergrundmusik. Dieser höhere Anspruch zeigt sich nicht zuletzt im Preisniveau, wobei die Qualität von Service und Küche leider dem Anspruch nicht unbedingt gerecht wird. Der Service ist sehr distanziert, die Mitarbeiter machen nicht den Eindruck, Ihren Job besonders gerne zu machen. In der Küche gibt es einigen Verbesserungsbedarf. Arrivés tard à Belém, le choix pour déjeuner était réduit.Nous avons donc choisi un établissement cité par Lonely Planet qui dit également que le service n'est pas son point fort.En effet, personne ne dit bonjour pas même celle qui vous accueille. De même lors de la prise de la commande... Le serveur qui a repris notre table était toutefois plus affable et sympa que le reste de ses collègues. Le choix de plats est limité mais ils restent corrects pour un tarif abordable.Le point fort étant la vue panoramique dégagée sur le Tage.

We know this place already a long time and each time we go back, this time for a small lunch. Sitting alonside the river with the full sun it is a lovely place, Products are good and prices are very reasonable. we took several dishes and all tasteful, For a wine we chose the Vihnio Verde but after all this was not the best, it missed freshness to our opinion, but that's personal of course as the first taste was ok. We come back next time!

I’ve been in Lisbon for few days with a friend and we’ve tried many restaurants but no one was good as this one! The food was amazing and we decided to come back the day after. Unfortunately the stuff didn’t speak English, except for Felipe. He’s been serving us both of the days and he’s been really friendly with us and he know how to do his job! Great job Felipe! I've been in lisbon for a few days with a friend and we've tried many restaurants, but nobody was good like this! that was amazing and we decided to eat again the day after. Unfortunately, the witness did not speak English, except felipe. He served us both days and he was really friendly with us and he knows how to do his job! great job felipe! we hope to come back soon!

we visited this place already a few times and it remains a very nice place. always a beautiful view of the river and when the sun seems, it is a place where you can sit for hours. the lunch was perfect with the gaspacho and the salates. prices are good compared to quality. next visit we will go back there.

We are normally the kind of customer that only makes the effort to reward places and support them with good reviews. But this place is an exception. My first time intentionally choosing not to tip. Terribly slow service. They forgot our drinks and our food while the place was still not particularly busy.

I was in Lisbon for the weekend at went for a run on the Saturday morning. I ran to Belem and stopped to refuel at A Margem along the riverside. Wonderful views of the river and 25 April bridge. I enjoyed some cake with honey and a coffee. Service was good and food was too. Recommended Reserva una mesa ahora

This place is great for several types of occasions Breakfast with friends or family, light meals with portuguese and international food. Best is the view and location between Torre de Belém and Padrão dos descobrimentos

We visited for lunch and both enjoyed , well presented, reasonably priced salads. The Chèvre salad was especially delicious. Highly recommended
