A Muralha - Reserva de mesa

We were looking for a restaurant near our accommodation and despite a few questionable reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to take chance. There wasn't a problem. We hit on a quiet night, the service was good, the staff friendly, the food excellent and the price very reasonable. I ordered Bacalhau a Muralha and it was delicious. The only problem was that I was served more than I was able to eat.

Horrible service. We had to wait to eat (30min and in that time the smell in the lobby was very bad. Something like fried oil/ fried patatoes... We are portugueses and only stayed there because Almeida's offer is very limited in summer months. The food it was also very bad... There were a big group inside the restaurant and we leave, thinking that must be the cause of the mess.

Very pleasant welcome, clean and tidy hotel, efficient restaurant and bar staff and value for money. If the restaurant is busy with lots of people, it is obvious that that is a good sign of quality. We were made to feel very welcome, complete with free complimentary drinks. Definitely the place to stay when visiting historical sites in and around Almeida.

It is near the Spanish border, prices are reasonable I would suggest bacalao a bras, it is a fish dish with potatoes and onion, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they speak Spanish also. Desserts are very good especially crema catalana. Reserva una mesa ahora

Comme chaque passage à Almeida, nous nous arrêtons à ce restaurant. Le personnel même s'ils changent au fil des années est toujours aussi agréable La saveur du Bacalao est inimitable, nous reviendrons bien évidemment !

Tras años, hemos vuelto y nada ha cambiado. Naco A Muralha espectacular y la cataplana buenísima. Recomendable parar y disfrutar de su comida. No os dejéis llevar por su aspecto anticuado. Comida de

The food is quite abundant so be careful when ordering. The Muralha cod fish was very good, and the clams were good altho quite a few hadn't opened.

Lugar lindo. Parece que voltamos a Idade Média. E, a cidade é muito linda. Voltarei sempre.
