A Table - Reservar una mesa

Having seen this restaurant recommended on tripadvisor we booked a table - this certainly seems essential for the evenings as every table was booked and people were turned away.It was a small and friendly restaurant with excellent service, food and wine. My husband and I both ordered a starter - the same one - but the waitress suggested we shared as it was a very large one. We took her advice and still had more than we needed. My husband had the chicken risotto which was very filling and excellent. He managed to eat it all. I chose the Basque plate which was a huge meal and even with my husband eating some I just could not finish it. The food was just delightful and it seemed such a waste. I...

There are a lot of places to choose from in Bayonne so we chose to have dinner here after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. We are glad we did as we definitely agree with the majority!Excellent food and excellent friendly service. It's a small place which makes for a nice cosy atmosphere. The service is quick and the proportions are very generous (my friend had the tuna main and the tiramisu dessert and I had the pork main and chocolate cheesecake dessert) - we definitely did not leave hungry!Visit if you can!

We have eaten at this restaurant before and it has always been good, as one of the reviews says "Fantastic little find". This time unfortunately it was adequate. Choice of menu was good, the waitress was attentive, friendly and efficient, but it was let down by the quality of the cooking by the chef. Perhaps he was having an off day as we all have from time to time. It wouldn't stop me going there, but I was disappointed as I took a friend telling her what a great place it was, sadly not so great this time.

I had the best meal I've had in a long time here with my girlfriend. The duck was gorgeous. The woman who served us was very friendly too and the service was quick.

Found this in the LP as advertised everything was fantastic and portions very large. We would definitely stop here again if we had the chance.
