We were a middle aged lady 's birthday party of 5 adults and 2 children slightly too cosily fitted on one of the oval tables as pictured here. unless TA changes the picture . The menu layout was simply confusing, as were the English translations of some of the dishes and Menu section headings A Gentleman 's Stoll became clearer when the waiter said Flaneur apparently they think this not an English word . Things became slightly clearer once we had a French menu and could confirm that the English word Perdraux became Perdreau in French. And a very tasty Partridge it was too. Déjeuner par une belle journée de mai. La vue est belle sur Salon de Provence, la terrasse agréable. Même si en regardant bien on se rend compte que le battement aurait besoin de sérieux travaux de rénovation et qu’il commence à se dégrader sérieusement. Service par 2 jeunes qui font ce qu’ils peuvent mais qui ne sont pas vraiment professionnels. Une bonne entrée, « baba à la tomate », fraîche et trés agréable. Ça commence bien…. Mais pour ce qui est de l’Aioli à suivre, première déception. Pas d’œuf, pas de carottes, quelques légumes verts, et surtout un tout petit morceau de poisson.. Bref un aïoli plutôt maigre pour un menu à 55€. Et pour le dessert aux fraises, déception avec des fraises...

We stayed three nights at Abbaye de Sainte Croix, so we had dinner at their place twice. While the food is ok, at the expected French quality given the price (still nothing amazing), I noticed that service was quite slow and sloppy. Also, the atmosphere was a bit dull. Maybe, in the summer evenings, when staying on the terrace, the things changes quite a lot, as the outside views are very beautiful

Beautiful abbey, well restored, comfortable and relaxing but not too chi chi. Feels like home... service is friendly and accommodating lovely terraces with wonderful views, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Cadre très agréable avec sa vue magnifique En apparence bel etablissement..cuisine avec une recherche pour les plats mais au final déçu et surtout l attente entre chaque plat mauvaise organisation en cuisin et et au service Dommage
What a view. a panoramic view of the region with the free patrol in training. That's pretty good. a little expensive but the service is good and the frame of this beautiful abbey justifies the price well.
Peaceful comfortable and very pleasant food. Feeds like time stopper here in the 1970ies, apart from the food which is contemporary classic french. Dining at the terrace on a summernight was wonderful.

Very nice place under the trees even if the sun is very strong. Very good food with efficient staff. Excellent food. Really a good place I recommend.
