found this gorgeous little gem of a restaurant after leaving Skipton.. so glad we decided not to eat in Skipton. we were fitted in without a reservation, despite it being full.. we had a variety of fresh homecooked food, a chicken roast dinner with the most amazing fresh veg cooked to perfection.. a full English, again cooked beautifully and very tasty, and a chilli with proper homemade chips... could not be faulted... with the weather being so nice, we decided to have another cuppa and desserts outside... wow, beautiful thick apple pie, tangy tasty lemon meringue and super light raspberry roulade... all beautifully served with very helpful and friendly staff.. we will definitely be back, a proper little hidden gem....

Hearty home cooked food for the soul. Absolutely delicious. Great value . Always full May need to book in advance.
