Having made a reservation using open table I was disappointed when we arrived to be told that the host didn't have my reservation, and that the manager is the only person with access to the open table reservations and that they don't keep the reservation book in the entrance updated with those. Then because they weren't expecting us, we were told it would be at least minutes because there were other people ahead of us waiting. After a few minutes we were told we could sit in the bar area and that a table in there would be less of a wait than the dining room. The food was terrific, as always. I had the shrimp and grits and it was prepared as requested without the peppers and it was delicious. My wife had the pot roast with root vegetables and it was yummy. Our other guests were also delighted with their choices also. Abbott's is worth the trip from Salisbury for the innovative, fresh and beautifully prepared. Kristin our server was great the warm, charming and very attentive to our needs. As I said at the beginning we are always pleased when we go to Abbots.

We had a good time at the restaurant. The fried green tomatoes were a nice appetizer and the cocktails were delicious. Unfortunately, our server seemed distracted and it took a while to get her attention to ask for some extra napkins. When the crème brûlée dessert arrived, I needed a spoon and had to ask the manager for one. Despite these issues, we may give this place another chance in the future.

This is our favorite restaurant in southern Delaware. The menu selections are always interesting and delicious. My current favorite is the pot roast highly recommend. We love their interesting starters such as their amazing flatbreads and various takes on truffle fries. Oh and they have a fabulous selection of craft beers on tap!

Father's Day was extra special this year- as we enjoyed dinner at The drinks, salad, and crab cake were delicious, with the bread being a special treat. Dessert- creme brulee was exceptional. The staff was most pleasant and we look forward to returning to Abbott's soon.

We get to Abbott's in Laurel as often as we can. The food and service is always outstanding. They have an excellent selection of beers on tap and their menu is always fresh and interesting. Highly recommend!
