Had the corned beef hash and eggs, and the Texas BBQ burger, both good. Coffee also was good. Full menu available all day; so there were no qualms about us ordering breakfast or lunch food. Good, typical diner coffee. Good service with just a couple minor issues. Had to ask for water a second time because the waitress was so busy. And, for whatever reason, a table seated near us, that arrived and ordered a bit after us got their food before we got ours. Nevertheless it wasn't too long a wait and the food was hot when it came out. Cheap prices. If it looks parked up out front, there's plenty of parking in the back.
This diner is truly the best around, without a doubt. The owners and staff are warm and inviting. The menu is extensive, with reasonable prices and generous portions. There’s something available for everyone, including the option to have dessert for breakfast! From pancakes and omelettes to biscuits and gravy, everything is delicious and satisfying. You can choose your seating at booths, tables, or at the counter. They also offer daily specials for breakfast and lunch. You can’t go wrong with a visit to the Aberdeen Diner. If you’re unsure about what to order, go for the Whurlitzer—you won’t be disappointed!
I have tried this diner a few times when I didn't have time to prepare food at home. The food is tasty and the portions are solid as compared to other diners I have tried. They do make quite a few mistakes with orders, so it is best to check orders before your leave. They have forget cheese on my eggs and forgotten my turkey sausage on a number of occasions. They always fix it if I call, but it happens too often. They are kinda pricey from what I am use to having, but every now and then I give them try.
I can’t believe that after living in the area for over 7 years, we’ve never set foot in this amazing diner. It’s easy to miss with the surroundings, but I must say, the food we ordered on a Friday morning for breakfast was incredible. My southern husband couldn’t stop raving about the biscuits and gravy, and I enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak with a beautiful char. The coffee was great—smooth with no aftertaste. Our waitresses were fantastic. We will definitely become regulars!

The food is amazing, and I was pleasantly surprised. It needs to be updated or reminded. but don't judge a book by its cover as I did, I drove by because it didn't meet my standards of a nice diner by looks only. But I was missing out on some great home-cooked meals. I will go back and try other meal choices on the diner's extensive menu.
Was in town visiting a friend and found this place. If you're looking for a true diner, look no further. Typical massive menu; wish I was here longer to explore more of the menu. The customer service was excellent and the chicken fried steak arrived in short time. If I'm ever in town again I'll stop by here.
Such a cute local diner with amazing breakfast and even friendlier staff! We were immediately greeted and treated like family. The walls were decorated with vintage pictures of musicians, athletes, and memorabilia creating a very pleasant and nostalgic ambience. Will definitely return!
During my recent visit to the diner, I had the open-faced roast beef with onion rings, and it definitely met my expectations. The service is consistently good, and I appreciate the warm diner atmosphere. It really has that cozy, small-town, home-cooked meal feel.

Best place to eat. Better than Denny's. Our Waiter was fun. It was my son Mikey 18 birthday breakfast. We asked for certain waiter and the girls made it happen. Surprised my son with cake and sang happy birthday to him. Also gave enough for us all to eat!
the best breakfast on rt 40. you can't go wrong with the breakfast specials and tasty coffee. plus the service is awesome.
