The San Francisco North Bay area has a limited selection of authentic vegan and vegetarian restaurants, so when we discovered an ethnic restaurant offering delicious vegan options, we felt it was worth reviewing. About a month ago, our son found this place, and we decided to give it a try. The owner and staff clearly understand what vegan means and were very helpful in showing us which other menu items could be made vegan. Additionally, the spiced tea is absolutely incredible!

The staff was friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant experience. The food was absolutely delightful! I ordered the combo plate for one, and the mix of flavors was fantastic. As this was my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine, I was a bit unsure about how to eat the “bread,” but I learned by listening to the neighboring table as they explained it to their child. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone visiting Santa Pink, just as I did!

I absolutely adore this place. I went for the first time yesterday and ordered the veggie combo plate (1 serving), which comes with 5 different stews and a house salad. There were incredibly kind staff, who were very attentive. I asked for extra Injera bread for the food I boxed to go, and they brought that out immediately. Would give this 5 stars if I could!

This place was fantastic. About half of their menu items are vegan. The pricing was really fair too. We ordered the vegetarian combo which turned out to be the perfect amount of food for two hungry people. They also brought towels before and after the meal for cleaning your hands.

This is a great place to go for vegan options in a town that isn't overly abundant with them and it provides variety but it's not as good as the ethiopian restaurants in Oakland. As of the last time I went they also did not have the GF injera.

The flavors were good, but we won’t be ordering from here again. The takeout portions are surprisingly small, to the point of being insulting. The first time we ordered, we thought they must have made a mistake.

The chickpea dip is served warm alongside toasted pita, offering a mild flavor that complements the wine beautifully. For our next dish, we ordered the fish goulash, which is also served warm...

I’ve been craving authentic East African cuisine, and since there’s only one spot in the entire North Bay, my wife and I finally decided to return after a 10-year absence.

Fantastic Ethiopian restaurant! We really enjoy their vegetarian dishes, and they offer gluten-free injera for anyone looking for a gluten-free option.
