This is my go-to Acai bowl place and I loved everything about it, including the food, choices, and customer service. However, I had a bad experience today at the store. We ordered the OG Bowl and on the menu it specifically says +Almond butter (0.75) , which would mean this is an extra optional topping that carries an additional charge. When we placed the order, we did not ask to add almond butter, but it was automatically added by the server and when we asked about it, their response was everyone else is served that way and it would be unfair if we don 't charge you extra. I brought this to the attention of the staff, and they seemed concerned. I then asked to speak with the manager or owner to express my feelings about the incident, and I informed her that I would not be returning to her establishment. Her response was a standard apology, but she seemed eager to end the conversation. I felt unsafe in that environment. If you are a person of color, I would advise you to avoid this place and seek out another spot for your acai bowl.
I visited the Acai Joint in Rowland Heights, CA, and had an exceptional experience that deserves a 5-star review. The OG bowl with ube chai pudding, a limited edition item, was an absolute delight. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the combination was truly unique and delicious. The Acai Joint's attention to detail in creating this bowl is commendable, and I highly recommend trying it out for a flavorful and satisfying treat.

This was my first experience trying an acai bowl, and I found it to be very sweet and delicious. However, I wouldn't really consider it a health food; it feels more like a dessert. Unfortunately, it's not the best option for those with nut allergies. On a positive note, the staff at the counter were incredibly friendly.
I had one of the best açaí bowls I've ever tasted. Coming from a South American background, I feel fortunate to find such a delicious and naturally flavored bowl here. Thank you for the fantastic açaí and the friendly service!
This was one of the best acai bowls I had.I added different topping and chose 2 different base which made the bowl super flavorful. I will be coming back again soon!
