I lived 20 years ago in the Bay area and I was a regular eating there very often....They were the BEST Mexican restaurant where I ever had the pleasure of eating in then and still today............. I need to know the Quintero family that owned it and was led by the 2nd and 3rd generation.... This special trip saw my return to the bay for a holiday and I just had to Acapulco...... I found out that unfortunately the restaurant was sold 12 years ago and was now called Acapulco Nuevo.... So I ordered my usual fare and alas the food was good better than many Mexican restaurants I tried, but it wasn't the original Quintero Acapulco.... You made flute for me. Not in the menu. Good strawberry margarita. Great fried fish. Good service. Happy hr at 3 w nice menu. Sweet little bar.

I am unimpressed by the expensive, small, and tasteless burrito. Very unhappy to find a large insect leg on one of my chips.
