Exceeded all expectations. Acey Ducey 's seems pretty unassuming from the exterior. Upon entering, it looks like your run of the mill neighborhood bar. Don 't underestimate them, though whoever 's behind the scenes knows how to make some good drunk food.We shared a shrimp poboy and the nachos. Nothing to complain about on the poboy; the fries were delightfully crispy on the outside and starchy on the inside just how I like 'em.The nachos, though... wow. There are nachos, then there are NACHOS. These are the latter. They arrived on an enormous platter, I 'm assuming for sharing. Flawlessly layered so every chip had a varying assortment of toppings. Acey Duceys hosted a Knicks themed bday outing to watch the game while we ate and drank. 1st off the food is absolutely amazing. Owner set up a buffet for us with all kinds of food from wings to chicken francese to pot stickers and more. We had a 3 hour open bar option and the drinks were strong and delicious. The service was impeccable. When one drink was done a new one seemed to be waiting for me. All my guests were raving about the food and service. The music was amazing too ranging from rock to hip hop to a bunch ofother genres. Can't say enough about the amazing time we spent here. Highly recommend!
a beautiful place especially on a quiet afternoon, if it is not too crowded, but during the rush times it will be very unwilling, as the regular take over and everyone who is not known to the bartenders and coworkers will definitely leave the feeling like an outside. I guess they have enough to do with locals so they don't try to welcome visitors. I'm a bar owner and I wouldn't tolerate it, but I suppose it works for her.
Wandered into Acey Ducey's a while back and it quickly became our go-to post-Wednesday evening sportsball rehydration spot. It's everything you could ask for in a local watering hole: delicious food, cold drinks, 90s music, and a sassy bartender. We especially love Kate! Friendly, attentive service, and hilarious!
