We went there to spend our special day and we found the menu to be false advertising! They have none of the wild game food displayed on the menu: no deer, goose, rabbit, not even lobster! We clearly saw the pictures on the menu, but that's all there is... Just pictures. Very disappointed. We went back again later on and the waitstaff was too busy on their cellphones to take our order, when we finally got our drinks, the waitress was so distracted by her cellphone that she dropped the drink near my lap! All i've got was an "oops!" And no apology, the dinner was very bland and i went home hungry. I won't be back to this overpriced restaurant again.
Great food in the restaurant with very good quality meets on offer. I have also stayed twice in the hotel, breakfast is limited choice but all fresh. Hotel rooms are all individually named and contemporary with nice fluffy towels and good toiletries. Great friendly staff. Be careful of the parking arrangement though. I think you need to pay even if parked in the spaces designated for hotel guests. I was fortunate that I got away with it but another guest had received a ticket. the requirement (or not) to acquire a parking ticket is not made clear. Short walk to all the outlet stores that Metzingen has to offer.
The hotel deserves all our accolades...Rooms are wonderfully done ! Though a small hotel but every detail has been taken care and done up nicely. The colour combination of the rooms are very soothing.The quality of food is excellent and the service is equally good. The best part is that it's a stone throw from the outlet shopping city. I would definitely stay in this hotel whenever I am in Metzingen and would recommend travellers to stay in this hotel.
The food we had there was really good, and some of the combinations were very interesting. Most of the menu sounded appetizing. The prices are a bit high, but it's a lovely place and different from the others in town (that I visited). I liked it a lot, actually, and service was good as well. It was packed when we arrived (without a reservation on a Saturday night in August), but they found us a great table withing minutes.

As someone who lives in Metzingen, it's nice to have a local restaurant that isn't Italian! Nice selection of pastas, burgers, salads or Swabian specialities. Also like the option of sitting in the Biergarten on a warm summer night.
We had a steak with chips. The steak was medium quality meat at premium price. The chips were much worse than what McDonald's is serving. Obviously they purchase cheap ingredients. We will definitely not return to this place.
This is another famous restaurant serving German food & of course the Spargel dishes ie Soup & Asparagus in butter or Hollande sauce with Potatoes are famous. The place is very well known in the visinity of Metzigan town.
We loved the salads (fried feta cheese and grilled veggies). Our soup lovers kids they loved all three in the menu. The chocolate trilogy was a nirvana! It is pricy but it is worthed!

Evening meal I was forgot about. In the morning again I ordered and forgot about. Only 2 clients at the time. Staff more interested about being on their mobile phones
