For our appetizers, we ordered the tomato pie, beef tartare, and guacamole. The tomato pie was fantastic and definitely the highlight of the three, with the tartare coming in a close second. The guacamole was decent but I wouldn’t recommend it given the other delicious options available. For main courses, we had the duck and salmon. The duck breast was perfectly cooked, even more tender than a good filet, and the sweet sauce complemented it wonderfully. The salmon was also excellent, cooked to a perfect medium and wonderfully flaky. We finished our meal with carrot cake, which was also delightful. Expect to spend about $200 for three people with a few drinks.

We visited for Galentine's Brunch, and it was fantastic! The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was both cozy and trendy. The food was absolutely delicious; we tried the fried green tomatoes, fish tacos, and Johnny cakes, along with mimosas and a lavender martini. I highly recommend all these dishes, especially the fried green tomatoes—they're topped with crab, which made them my favorite! The martini was refreshing and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Everything was quite filling, and we’ll definitely be returning!

I was quite disappointed with our visit. We planned our trip to Auburn specifically to dine here after watching the chef on Beat Bobby Flay. While the restaurant itself was lovely and our server did a fantastic job, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. The fried green tomatoes were a pleasant surprise, but the fish in my tacos was overcooked and excessively greasy. My husband’s burger was rather lackluster and tasted pretty bland. Acre is consistently a great choice, whether for lunch, dinner, or just appetizers. The food never fails to impress, and the service is outstanding. Their cocktails and draft beer selection are also excellent! Overall, it’s just a wonderful option.

You cannot do better in the Southern USA. Time after time Duck, tenderloin, red snapper, steak tartar... Flavor filled dishes with southern twists and takes with wonderful service.
