When I learned that a new place by my apartment had vegan options, I knew I had to try it out. My husband and I came in for brunch one Saturday and got the tofu scramble platter, pancakes, and fakin bacon. The platter came with tofu, hash browns, and toast. My only issue is the scramble definitely wasn't seasoned enough, but adding a little salt solved that. The pancakes were big and fluffy, and the bacon was Sweet Earth Foods' Benevolent Bacon. There's no vegan butter or anything like that, but the food is filling. Another reviewer said they don't give maple syrup, but our sever gave two little containers of it, I don't know what that's about. They also have a Beyond Burger on the menu, and...
Plenty of vegan options for a breakfast, all delicious (tofu scramble needs a lot of salt and pepper though). Don't worry about the hashbrowns, they are vegan too, they aren't cooked in butter. If a cafe near my house can have good vegan breakfast options, why can't international resteraunt chains like IHOP?
Place was clean and cute. They offer vegan pancakes, fakin bakon, tofu scramble, a beyond burger. Food is unseasoned!! Vegan pancakes offered with NO MAPLE SYRUP. Don't bother wasting your TIME!! Skip this place altogether!!
I always receive outstanding service at this restaurant. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. The food is amazing! Whenever I'm in the area, this is my go-to place to eat.

Cute comfortable place to sit down and have breakfast. The pancakes were really good.. the tofu scrambled eggs needed some salt and pepper bc they were kinda bland.
The best café in Long Island, incredible food, coffee and really friendly staff. I highly recommend visiting Across Broadway Café next time you're in Hewlett!
