If it would be just for the beautifully restored old farm house and barn (nice outside terrace in Maudach, this would be one of my most preferred hang-outs when in the Ludwigshafen area. However, at the end of the day the food counts. And that is unfortunately not the fortune of this place. If the owner Nicola is really Italian and a chef he must have forgotten a lot of his schooling. One of the most beloved Italian dishes 'Saltimbocca alla Romana ' with unsavory formed ham? What the heck? No sage either? Come on. In Italia a chef who would concoct a dish like that would run the risk to get shot on the street after leaving the restaurant! if it was only about the beautifully restored old building and the beautiful (beautiful outdoor terrace) in maudach, this would be one of my favorite spots in the opposite of ludwigshafen. at the end of the day, however, food counts and this is unfortunately not the luck of this place. if the owner nicola is really Italian and cook, he must have forgotten a lot of his school time. one of the most popular Italian dishes 'saltimbocca alla romana' with unappetiful forms? what the devil? in italy, a cook that would prepare such a dish would run risk of being shot on the street after leaving the restaurant! the pizza looked frozen out and tasted part, meat quality of the filet was under average (...

Well, eating here is a bit of gambling: sometimes it's super, sometimes so lala. Bad food isn't going to be here. A racer is at any rate the pizza, carving or noodle days per dish you pay around 6 or 7 euros. In the summer you can even sit in the yard, but it has often happened that we have no more space. So booking is a good idea.
