To be honest, my expectations were low for this place. It had old, outdated, tacky furniture and looked unappealing. The reason we ate here was because we just drove 7 hours, were starving, and it was a sit down establishment. But this restaurant happened to be a don 't judge a book by it 's cover establishment. I ordered the stuffed flounder with a salad, broccoli, and baked potato. And all meals come with bread and butter. Everything was very good and HOT. The stuffed flounder was flavorful and cooked perfectly and the crab inside did not over power it. It had a very light sauce on top that was delicious. The salad was your typical side salad with cherry tomatoes, red onions, croutons, and cucumbers. I wish they didn 't put the dressing right on the salad because it was a tad too much for my liking, but I could have ordered it on the side. The baked potato was very good and the broccoli was a little over cooked, watery, and a small portion. The bread was a nice crusty bread, warm that went well with my dish. Overall, I give the dish a B+. I got a lot of food for the price as well. I would eat here again.
That was the most delicious food I eat on the whole island of the forest. The first visit with the family and the Linguini Fra Diablo was from this world. My son had Fatuccini Alfredo with chicken and wife the penne ala Vodka and she was also amazed at the freshness and quality of food they serve. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend! The portions are excellent and the service amazing!
If you want to eat on the boardwalk, but want good restaurant quality food, then this is the place to go. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly, It is clean inside and newly renovated. Dirty courts were quickly deleted from our table by the bus boy. You will get an excellent meal at a good price. Enjoy!
