Uma taberna à moda antiga, ambiente super descontraído, ideal para ir beber um bom vinho e umas tapas depois do trabalho. Sempre cheio, é difícil arranjar mesa. Fui com 2 amigos e ficamos no balcão, sem problema da nossa parte. O espaço está bem decorado com alusão ao fado, ao vinho e ao grande SC Farense. O pessoal que lá trabalha também é impecável, já se sabe que estamos numa taberna, por isso não estejam de um atendimento de restaurante, há que entrar no espírito. Sem dúvida alguma que vale a pena visitar este espaço.
Do you like trendy, hype, full of vibe places filled of people just like you? Than Adega do Amável is not for you. This is the real deal, the Portuguese Adega (Wine Cellar) experience. Drink and Eat with the locals, they may not speak you language but be patient, be happy, it's worth it. Try the local white wine (The owner calls it his Moet Chandon), it's amazing. Ask for the tapa of the day or a plate of smoked ham and local cheese. He also has some amazing canned delicacies, fresh bead and a great selection of spirits.
Stopped here for a quick lunch ended up with a pork sandwich (bifana), a tray of presunto and chouriço, and melted Azeitão sheep cheese. All very tasty and washed down with the slightly fizzy (and delicious) house white wine. Not the absolutely cheapest place around but the food was top quality, and the atmosphere relaxed, to say the least. This is no tourist trap.
