Absolutely my favourite place to eat out in Brighton. I love Greek food and this little gem of a place doesn't disappoint. Run by two brothers who are actually Greek, there is an authenticity to this restaurant that you just don't get in a lot of other places. I have eaten at adelfia on several occasions now and every time has been fantastic. As someone with allergies to gluten, eggs and dairy it's great to be able to go somewhere and still have choice. Dre, who runs the front of house, and yani, who runs the kitchen, communicate so well with each other to ensure that I always have a fantastic meal with nothing in it that will cause me problems On top of this, the place is spotless, the atmo...

I have never written a review before, but feel I have to as we had such a lovely time at Adelfia. It was a family birthday, and they made the whole evening brilliant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and the waiters were brilliant really helpful, friendly and smiley which made the whole experience feel more relaxed and happy. We were the last people there and they never made us feel like they wanted us to rush or like they were wanting us to leave (having worked in a restaurant I’m sure they were tired but you never would have guessed). And the food was delicious, every person in our group loved what they had chosen. All in all, a great experience.

What an amazing party we had tonight at Adelfia. Despite being busy, everybody’s meal arrived in good time and was perfectly cooked. It must be hard to arrange for all of those different dishes to arrive altogether but Andreas and his team did exactly that. We had a varied selection including kleftico, moussaka, garides saganaki, vegetarian burger, gyros, souvlaki and stifado. We all commented on how tasty everything was. The staff brought our cake out and joined in the singing of happy birthday. The atmosphere was wonderful and I highly recommend this amazing find in Preston St. You won’t be disappointed.

The best decision my friend and I made when we were finding a place to eat in Brighton. The food was fresh and delicious .The rice was so tasty,the fish was well cooked and the beef tomato sauce I had reminded me so much of home meals back in Ghana.The staff were very kind,patient and friendly. We were celebrating 47 years of being together and we love Greece so decided to book the Adelfia for our special night, we weren't disappointed the food was incredible, the staff were so lovely even taken the time to talk to us about our past trips to Crete. Would highly recommend.

Visited again 22nd and 23rd of December. Delicious food with a really good selection of vegetarian vegan dishes. Butter bean and feta dishes were full of flavour. The Ravani dessert was delicious. Will definitely visit again, when we are next in Brighton.

Lovely food, great atmosphere and surroundings and the service couldn’t be better. Andreas, front of house, is so personable and genuinely interested in his customers. If you get the chance to go, do.
