Adventure - Reserva de mesa

Group of 3, came in just before 3:30pm when they were closing at 4pm. Asked if able to still order hot food and was told no -which was understandable. Ordered 3 coffees and cakes knowing the shop would be closing at 4pm but made to feel very unwelcome for the twenty minutes we were there. Generally passive aggressive -had tables needlessly clattered around us and excessive noise of “cleaning up” in what was a very empty cafe. Would’ve preferred it they had been up front about not accepting any more orders unless for takeaway or closed shop earlier.

Sad to say that I had one of worst bacon and sausage baps ever (here). Poor quality bacon and sausage, cooked to death and dry, in a dry (unbuttered) superstore bap. With such lovely local ingredients to be had in Derbyshire, and a bit of tlc, it's not that difficult to make a simple dish, as I had, tasty. A degree of cheery/friendly service would have been nice too. Sorry, but this cafe is not one for me.

Staff were somewhat pleasant. Food was underwhelmingly disappointing, lacking flavour, simply bland and unfortunately fruitless. A worthy mention, one much to my dismay is the lack of vegan friendly options on offer, an enticing reason that drew me to cafe adventure.

A group of us from the Royal Enfield Owners Club, stopped here today for our lunch during a ride out. We had reserved the Bothy which was ideal for our group of 7. Food as usual was superb and service excellent, thank you for making us feel so welcome. Reserva una mesa ahora

One of those places where you can tell its loved by locals and visitors alike and locals have their preferences remembered. Very dog and child friendly. Great food. One of the best full English breakfasts I've had in some time.

Stopped in for a brew and cake after a long walk. Very nice lady served me, and I enjoyed my snap whilst taking the weight off for half hour. I do recommend stopping by.

Great little find while out on a walk. Good selection on the menu and fabulous cakes. Very reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back

Had a lovely coffee and hot chocolate. The cakes we had were really yummy too. Planning on going again for breakfast
