Afghan kebab house

Usually when I'd like to have original kebab, I am going to Dandenong. One of my friends suggested to visit this place near Ormond station. It was right decision. Place is not so presentable, but Afghan kebab is real- meat on wooden fire. I took mix kebab to try all of them- chicken, lamb and mince kebabs. All are delicious. And price was very reasonable. So I took away a lot to share it with my family. I have only one complain- afghan bread has to be warm on fire, not in microwave.So meat was cooked great, but to get fresh afghan bread I still need to go to Dandenong.

I purchased a takeaway lamb kebab roll with chips and a soft drink for $13. The portion size was very large, enough to share between two people, making it great value for money. The chips were crispy, freshly fried, and well-seasoned. The roll itself was also massive, perhaps with too much pita bread, resulting in an imbalance of filling to bread ratio. However, there was a generous amount of meat and salad, and the combination of garlic sauce and chili sauce was delicious. The meat was thinly shaved but a bit dry and tough. Overall, the food was quite enjoyable.

After buying a new sax reed at Ozwinds in North Road, I crossed over to the north side to this unprepossessing cafe.<br/ <br/ I ordered Mix Kebab $14 which arrived  in a few minutes with rice and salad. The guy brought out some sauce which was nice.<br/ <br/ The chicken, beef and lamb were tender and tasty. The rice was delicately spiced. The accompanying salad was simple and ungarnished yet surprisingly complemented the entire meal.<br/ <br/ I've tried several places along that strip of North Road and this is the best. I'll be back.

I decided to stop by for a late night snack without high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. This small and charming restaurant offers incredibly delicious food! Don't let the simple exterior fool you. The quality of the food is excellent and I will definitely be returning for more soon! My family and I have been frequenting this little neighbourhood gem for takeout since it arrived on the strip a couple of years ago. The food is delicious! Authentic kebabs grilled over open wood fire... Mmmm!Best to order ahead using menulog or by calling as prep can seem a bit slow but the food is always grilled at time of ordering so it's super-fresh.

I was hesitant to enter this place. But when the food arrived I was surprised. Tasty and delicious kebabs with your choice of side (rice, chips or salad). All for a very reasonable price.Would certainly go to again and it's great value for money especially when feeding a family.

Been here a couple of times and loved the kebabs. They cook the skewers over the charcoal grill and that gives a smoky flavour to it. The prices are cheap and quality is nice. Would defs come again for a grub.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I visited for the first time today and will definitely be returning. The decor may not be extravagant, but the chicken is the most delicious I have ever tasted. Reserva una mesa ahora

Good lamb and chicken kebab rolls! The chips are not all that great, but the kebab rolls are definitely worth a try! Friendly owner! Will return for sure.
