We went to Afghan Tasty for a work do and the food was delicious and authentic. I don't often go out because a lot of food plays havoc on my stomach but I had no problem here. I ate everything in the set menu, and...more than I should have. I attribute this to everything being made fresh and on the premises, including the bread being baked in a massive oven out the back. The staff were friendly and the owner even gave me a sample of the tea to take home and brew for myself when I remarked on its unique flavour. Did I mention it was also great value! Definitely worth a visit.

With the higher rating Afghan restaurant nearby closed for lunch, we walked a few doors up to Afghan Tasty Food for lunch today. We had a plate of minced lamb and veg dumplings topped with a lentil sauce and topped again with a yoghurt sauce,...and a lovely saffron, orange and pistachio that came with two big, delicious koftas in a yummy sauce in a separate bowl. All simple, but absolutely delicious food, that we really enjoyed. The restaurant is really clean and service was very friendly.

Dropped in for lunch today...we were the only diners. The food was delicious. We had the dumplings and chicken kebab. ..more than enough for the two of us. The kebabs came with salad, sauce and a great bread. The spices were so good. Drinks...from the fridge in dining room...just water for us. in total.

and it was so delicious. we had lambskewer, chickenskeer, garlic bread and manto. the surprise for me was that manto. it was delicious. both spits were delicious and the portion size was abundant. the personal was friendly and accentuated. highly recommended.
