Afternoon Tea At Pennyhill Park

The room was quite cold, as all the doors to the reception area were left open. The sandwich and cake display was beautiful, but we weren't fans of the festive decorations on the jam and macaroons. By the time we got to the top tier of treats, we had reached our limit and ended up taking the leftovers home. Unfortunately, some of the cakes were dry and lacking in flavor, while others were a bit too gooey. The prices were quite high, and an additional £20 service charge was added to the bill. On a positive note, the piano player was excellent—a lovely addition to the atmosphere.

We came in for afternoon tea for my sister’s birthday which I’d organised a few months earlier. The lady that looked after us was lovely and I could not fault her however there were a few issues. There was some broccoli stuck to the teapot that mum sister had, some of our cakes were extremely dry as was some of the bread with our sandwiches. The table runner was so creased up I was so shocked it wasn’t corrected before people came into the restaurant! For almost £200 for three people I did expect more sadly. I wouldn’t be going back for afternoon tea again.

we came to the afternoon to the birthday of my sister, whom I had organized a few months earlier. the lady who looked around us was nice and I couldn't blame her, but there were a few problems. there was brokkoli stuck in the teekanne that had mom sister, some of our cakes were extremely dry as it was a part of the brotes with our sandwiches. the table runner was so stunned that I was so shocked that it was not corrected before the people came to the restaurant! for almost 200 for three people I expected more sad. A lovely afternoon tea. The food was delicious and we were given extra sandwiches. We couldn’t finish the cakes and we were given them in a box to take home. We had the Ascot tea and the waiter explained all about the drinks, which was a lovely touch. We have been before and will certainly go again.

Our waiter, Roy, was fantastic—he offered excellent recommendations for tea, wine, and champagne, and was incredibly friendly, going out of his way to ensure we had a great experience. The afternoon tea was delightful, and I will definitely be returning.

I had a lovely afternoon at the restaurant. The food was delightful, and the portion sizes were generous. I really appreciated that any leftover cake could be packed up to take home. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that took about two hours.

A delightful way to spend an afternoon! The food was wonderful, and the portion sizes were generous. Any leftover cakes can be packed up to take home. The afternoon tea experience lasts about two hours.

We have been to a Pennyhill park many times for their delicious afternoon tea- but we both agreed this was the best yet- thank you to all the staff for a wonderful experience
