We had an absolutely stunning meal at the Bybrook Restaurant. It's not often that we can afford to go out to a fancy restaurant and thankfully it did not disappoint on any level. We both went for the tasting menu and every course was flawless, the portions were also just the right size. It was my girlfriend's birthday dinner, and she was brought out a little sign saying happy birthday, which was a really nice touch. The staff were professional and knowledgeable, if a little overly formal, although I'm sure that's what's generally expected from clients in such an upmarket hotel and restaurant. Overall, it was a brilliant experience from beginning to end, and I wish we could visit every month!
What a beautiful location! The manor house is large and beautiful, and that gave the evening a real luxurious feeling. Each course was presented excellently and the food delicious. I also know that although it was Valentine's Day, the price was not raised for the night. I would recommend The Bybrook for a special occasion.
