I recently dined at Agave Cocina and Tequila on Queen Anne and had a fantastic experience. My friend and I went on Taco Tuesday, which is a tradition for us when I am in town. Instead of our usual local bar, we decided to try Agave this time. My friend enjoyed the Agave Burrito, while I opted for the special salmon tacos with chimichurri, a delicious choice. Instead of the usual beans and rice, I chose the habanero Brussels sprouts as my side, which were grilled to perfection and not too spicy. We also indulged in some margaritas - I tried a basil botanical margarita and a prickly pear ginger margarita, both of which were unique and tasty. For dessert, we shared churros dusted with cinnamon...
I usually don't post reviews, but I had a very bad experience here. I ordered a vegan burrito and halfway through our meal the server came out and told us that we eat with huh in it. I haven't eaten any meat for six years, and they still let us pay for the appetizer after we had fed meat, even though we couldn't eat the biggest part of it because I felt sick. I do not recommend eating here if they have food restrictions or allergies, and especially not if they are looking for vegan food!
The seating is cramped and the restaurant enforces strict dinner rules during events at the arena. Dinner felt rushed and we had to separate our group because of seating regulations. The loaded nachos plate was massive, and my wife couldn't even finish it. The brisket tacos were tasty, but the corn tortillas fell apart very quickly. They should consider offering flour tortillas instead.
First of all, we are out of houston, so we are quite spoiled in terms of good Mexican food. that said that for seattle it wasn't bad. the price was reasonable, and eating was fresh and pale. the taste was a bit bland, but for local palate it was good. the service was good, and our waiter was attentive and in front of location drinks were solid, without complaining.

as “a texture person” this meets the point! toasted mandeln add a crispy to my tastefully packed chipotle enchiladas, crispy speck around my jalapeños packed with creamy goat cheese and with pineapple topped, and a traditional burrito full. I was satisfied! agave was great, and a wonderful addition to an ice hockey filled evening right in front of the space needle!
I have visited this restaurant multiple times over the years, and it has always been consistently good. Today, we decided to sit in the bar area. The bar menu is limited but of high quality. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious. The portions were generous. We ordered chicken tinga tacos and a carnitas burrito, both of which were delicious.
The food was incredible and the service was outstanding. Amanda was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends. We will be returning soon!
The food was great and the service was awesome. They di a great job of managing the demand when there is event at CP.
