AIOLA - Reservar una mesa

The major attraction of the place is a nice garden. Despite a very simple attire the beautiful trees make the outdoor seating very attractive. Unfortunately the service is extremely unprofessional and lousy. Nothing new in Switzerland but this is a bit worse than the standard unfriendliness one gets used to here. Food is fine but not worth of note and the menu typical standard Swiss. Recommend it? No. Will go back? No.

Friendly, welcoming service! Comfortable, easy- going atmosphere with a touch of elegance. The bruschetta was the tastiest I have had in years. A fresh, heavenly pita light bread , puffy and crunchy with a good strong aroma of garlic, olive oil and fresh diced tomatoes. I also had a delicious margherita pizza too with a nice red wine. Wonderful, casual evening! Would not hesitate to return!

The restaurant is conveniently located near the Sarnen Train Station. The fare is essentially Italian. We went for a dinner and ordered a Vegetarian Pizza (Mushrooms) and a Pesto Pasta. Both the items were well prepared. The restaurant was almost fully occupied on a weekday.

Good athmosphere Good service Food slightly over average. The salad buffet could improve. The pasta was good. The hake was OK. Excellent cake Price was reasonable

We go here often, it is a nice, casual place with very friendly staff. Choice of salads at the buffet is great and their pizzas are the best.
