Aizle - Reservar una mesa

We live in Edinburgh and 5 of us went to Aizle for a birthday dinner, the second time in a few months. The setting is relaxed, the staff friendly and very well informed, and the 8-course tasting menu (with an extra cheese course) is amazing. There was not a single course that we didn’t really like (rarely happens even in a 3- or 4-course meal), and the accompanying wines were excellent. Certainly the meal was of Michelin-star quality. All in all, this was an amazing and really enjoyable dinner. We will be back – and will also try to make an excuse to try Stuart Ralston’s other (new) fine-dining experience at Lyla.

We did dinner and wine pairing. Dinner started absolutely amazing until we got to the bread course. Everything else from that point onwards (including the two main courses) was a disappointment. The fish course was overcooked, the duck course was undercooked. The staff didn’t even bother to remedy the situation. Very disappointed given the more than 500 GBP bill for a dinner for 2

How this restaurant does not possess a Michelin Star is beyond me, although it is recognized by the Michelin guide for Scotland.

This place is pretty awesomePrice fixed meal with the ingredients on a chalk board for all the courses.

I came here to dine alone on my trip and it was a perfect experience.
