I ordered the Sushi Tray F ($46.95) and spring rolls ($6.49, which were complimentary with orders over $30) for delivery. Overall, I was satisfied with the meal, except for the 12 pieces of ginger rolls. This choice seemed a bit uncreative and perhaps even underestimated my preferences as a customer. I've been supporting this restaurant since it opened and recall that the food was more thoughtful back then, especially with the owner working at the sushi bar. The rice was cooked well, which is important to me since I dislike it when it's pasty, and the seasoning was on point. For over 15 years, we've been enjoying take-out from Aji Sai. Among all the Japanese restaurants in the Danforth area, it stands out as the most reliable spot for good sushi. I was pleasantly surprised by the renovations when I dined there last Thursday night with my wife and son; we hadn't visited since before the pandemic. It was great to see that the restaurant is thriving, as indicated by the three sushi chefs working behind the counter! At Aji Sai, you can always count on freshness, cleanliness, quality, and reasonable prices. There's no need to shell out high prices at those upscale Japanese spots downtown.

I ordered the Dynamite Maki roll, which had simple ingredients that were exactly what I was looking for. The spring rolls were also very crunchy and delicious. The prices are reasonable and affordable. As for dietary restrictions, they offer vegetarian options as well.

We always order the Sushi Donner for Two. It's consistently fresh and delicious, providing as much sushi as we can eat for under $45! It's our favorite sushi spot on the Danforth.
