We’ve ordered takeout from Ajo a couple times now, and absolutely love it. The flavors are fresh, and it feels like a healthier alternative to many quick takeout restaurants. I always order a custom bowl, and I love how the flavors and textures work so well together. We’ve also ordered the avocado fries and the fried plantains. The avocado fries were good, but didn’t quite live up to the rest of the meal. The fried plantains are almost magical.
The food here is fresh and well presented. Friendly staff, make sure you don’t bring cash! I wasn’t particularly impressed by either of our meals. For me, the bowl needed more meat and less rice/beans. The rice was flavored in a way that didn’t seem to suit the whole of the dish. But the plantains were delicious, and the location is nice.
This place is amazing! The food is delicious and the costumer service is great. The cashier in the front is very helpful! But be ready with your card because they don’t accept cash.

I don’t rate food. I’m ready to call this place back and tell them HOW AMAZING my food and bowl was. Fast food I have had in Chicago in a minute.
Tried several things here, the food was ok, it was more on the bland side. The ingredients were good, place was clean, server was nice.
This place is so good! The food is always fresh and tasty. Staff are pleasant and quick service. Mojo rico bowl is my go to.
Got me my gf’s order wrong, they brought my gf her correct order but whatever I had been given, was pretty darn good.

The meals are packed full of protein — so worth the price! Drinks were great too.
