Ajo Al's employees claim they don't participate in Open Table and therefore do not get any notification of confirmed reservations. Therefore, I'd be cautious of using Open Table to make a reservation there because it will not be honored.
The food was very good. If it had a weakness it would be that the main dishes had a bit too much cheese. The guacamole was fresh. The chips and salza were good. Several good Mexican beers on tap as well.

Disappointing. Has suc rave reviews, but the food was just ok. For example; the beef in the fajatas was tough. Not much flavor in the Chorizo Burro. Sopapias...not so much. Drinks ok. Adios.
Coming from Texas, it was amazing to me that finding a good Mexican food is this difficult. Then we found Ajo's, problem solved.
Great local Mexican food restaurant. Really great happy hour specials too!
