Akari Japanese - Reserva de mesa

This was our first time here. MUCH better than the previous Japanese Restaurant in the Vancouver BC area we went to in every way. It wasn't as noisy. We actually got to sit at a table in fact it was one of the partially enclosed rooms making it more private from the rest of the Restaurant. We had Gyoza, Nabe-Udon, Una Don, various nigiri sushi, and the Seafood Deluxe Combo Dinner Bento Box. It was reasonably priced and very delicious (especially the Una Don). The Servers were very friendly even when we requested to move to the enclosed room after being seated at a different table. Akari restaurant is a gem located in Surrey/Delta area. My girlfriend and I went there for dinner in December and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The portions are plentiful and the sushi rolls are unique and original. You must try the Akari Roll and the Rock and Roll roll...out-of-this-world. Finally, I highly recommend the tempura at Akari, in my opinion it is the finest in Vancouver. Akari has a tempura chef that specializes only in tempura and that is all he does and have been doing for over 20 years. The tempura is light, crispy, not oily, and seasoned to perfection. We went for Sushi for a break from Christmas turkey. We shared the large boat with Sashimi, Alaskan and Pink roll, Gyoza and miso soup. It was great. We went on December 27 and the place was full. They currently have a Kirin draft beer special on as well. We particularly like the black rice you can choose for an extra dollar per person. This is restaurant has consistently high quality Japanese food. We are regular visitors.

I have been here several times & they are consistently fantastic. Their Rock'n Roll roll is delicious. The unagi on that roll is the best out all the sushi places I have been to. Also their shrimp gyoza are very tasty .The service is good too. Reserva una mesa ahora

Went to this restaurant for lunch. Excellent service. Bento box did not disappoint. Especially liked the chicken teriyaki and the tempura. Excellent pricing at lunch. Great value. Will visit again when we are in the area.

Can't complain about the service, we had a huge party tray to go that they prepared in about 10min , without providing lower quality. We enjoyed a large variety of sushis and makis that were tasty and fresh.

We've been there a few times to eat, and we also do take-out often. We do order the same things usually but, food is consistent in quality. Servers are friendly.

We passed by delta and by accident we had dinner here, tasty special rolls, tempura and Odom all were good,staff were awesome.
