Indian restaurant that has survived the times. A favorite for Indians. All delicacies are North Indian foods. Typical tandoori chicken, butter chicken. Lamb curry are all aromatic and tasty. Good for vegetarians as well. Valet parking. Avoid week ends. Party goers crowd the restaurant and it gets crowded. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Don't waste your time or money here. Terrible food, one of the worst Indian restaurants I have ever eaten at. Over charging for disgusting, tasteless food...this is coming from a desi girl who has been eating Indian food all her life. I attended a private event here. Please peruse the review accordingly. The hall was beautiful with tasteful decorations. It can easily hold 100 people. The food was very tasty. There were 5-6 appetizers, 3-4 sabjis, naan, 3 dessert options. The servicewas great. It was a great experience as a guest.

The atmosphere and service is really good in Akbar. The waiters were very friendly and the place is very neat. But this isn't the best place to go as a vegetarian, especially when you have places like Mitaas in a 10 min drive away. That being said thoughthe deserts were very good
