4 star hotel with functioning infrastructure: reception, restoration, wellness area, all open even outside the season. The heated outdoor pool is a special pleasure. The hotel is in the middle of nature. Despite these advantages, I received overprices for room and food. Room service saves environmental protection! The staff is only moderate. I didn't use breakfast, €20 was too expensive. Overall the flair of a farm tourism. Activities nearby: Charming hiking trails in every length begin in front of the doorstep. The old town of Schmalkalden can be seen. Note: In addition to an indoor area, there is an outdoor pool that is also heated in winter.
Where should I start and where should I stop... From the first day on we enjoyed the stay in full. The location is very quiet simply perfect! It invites you to recharge your batteries. A super balance for stressful everyday life.All are very friendly and accommodating.The rooms are clean and well maintained. We traveled with dog and he also received a welcome greeting.The spa area invites you to stay and relax. A beautiful goodi is also the countercurrent system in the indoor pool.We will definitely come back
Very simple double room, but clean. Staff very nice and accommodating. With candle light dinner: my fish was so salted, I couldn't eat it, the piece white bread had burned, the cook probably had a black day, can happen, substitute dinners or a free drink didn't come! Wellness area quite nice, unfortunately sauna area not in operation in the morning, and in the afternoon 3 hours closed due to basic cleaning, that was bad luck! Massage was great!!!
We had booked a wellness package.Absolute friendly accommodating service. Room clean and good. Food very tasty but also very expensive.From wellness offer we expect more. The next day, one sauna was the other. On Saturday the whole SPA area was totally overrun. No place in the sauna and in the relaxation area. Energy saving was probably the water to swim very cold.But a visit worth a visit overall
