Now, onto the food, which was excellent! We ordered a variety of dishes to sample different flavors. The Kafta was fantastic—cooked perfectly and well-seasoned, truly delicious. The same goes for the chicken and falafel; both were delightful. The sandwiches were quite substantial for the price, providing a great way to experience the main courses of chicken, Kafta, or falafel.
I also tried the fried kebbie, which was exceptional. The meat inside was flavorful and well-seasoned. It comes with one side, and I chose the salad. The rice was fantastic as well—fluffy and buttery. And the fresh bread? Simply the best! It was served warm and was perfectly baked.
We will definitely be returning!
On Sunday evening, there was only one young woman handling walk-in customers. There were also 4-5 people standing around, discussing business while it was busy. Unfortunately, the garlic sauce was terrible! It resembled watery ranch dressing and was nothing like the authentic versions available at other restaurants in the area.
We enjoyed a delightful meal with excellent service in a beautiful and comfortable restaurant. Our server, Angie, assisted us in selecting our dishes and had a fantastic sense of humor. We ordered the Stuffed Lamb, which was substantial, and the Al Ameer, both of which were outstanding.
The food is excellent at Al-Ameer, which showcases the flavors of Middle Eastern cuisine. They have two locations, but I prefer the one on Warren Street in Dearborn. The staff there is amazing, and the overall experience is much better.

DOWN THE DRAIN. This place used to be reputable for authentic middle eastern cuisine, but it's a ghost of a restaurant serving cold tasteless food. The cockroaches didn't help either. Never again.
My wife and I came here for the first time this morning. Everything was delicious. Our waitress, D, gave great recommendations. Everything tasted fresh and was very fast.
The Lebanese food here is incredible! Hadi is an exceptional waiter, and Tarek made us feel very welcome. I will definitely be returning!
My first Mediterranean breakfast. It was amazing. Absolutely try the meat pies. Those were my favorite. The hummus was also lovely .

Great food friendly staff always on point no matter what you get but my favorites are the ouzza platter and the shawarma sandwiches!
Love this place! Amazingly good food and so cheap! And they are great with customers always ready to accommodate
