Al Andalus 35 years in operation a family run establishment by the father his two sons and daughter, is a true example of old-fashioned sterling Spanish-restaurant. Efficient, top quality, and pleasant friendly straightforward service, without much pretention that makes people feeling at home. The great variety of food is for selection displayed in a vitrine. As all the homemade deserts on offer too. The modest ambience underlines the solidity of its well-prepared cuisine. Highly recommended. To avoid disappointments advance reservation is suggested.
This restaurant near the town swimming pool is small, usually crowded and very noisy. The food is excellent and cannot be faulted. Service is good and the staff are very accommodating putting together or taking away tables for any size of group. The tapas bar is old fashioned with a wide range of goodies to taste. Close to the road but the noise from within cancels any noise from without!
Don't show up at 8PM, because you'll be the only one dining there. The place is hard to find, in the middle of nowhere. And to be honest, I wouldn't bother anyway. It is overrated, and fairly expensive. I ordered gambas and for Euro 12 at is all you get. No veggies, no fries, nothing. Just the gambas. Take your business somewhere else is my advice ...
No vayas a las 8PM, porque serás el único comiendo allí. El lugar es difícil de encontrar, en medio de la nada. Y siendo honesto, ni siquiera me molestaría. Está sobrevalorado y bastante caro. Pedí gambas y por 12 euros eso es todo lo que obtienes. Sin verduras, sin papas fritas, nada. Solo las gambas. Mi consejo es llevar tu negocio a otro lugar...

This traditional Andalusian restaurant and tapas bar has a great fish menu, wonderful meats and seasonal treats such as wild mushrooms and asparagus all reasonably priced. Don't expect luxury dining but if its a friendly Andalucian welcome with scrumptious tapas head to Restaurante Al Andalus opposite the football stadium in Los Barrios

Una vez aquí podemos disfrutar de un ambiente agradable y especial, que ofrece una decoración típica marroquí. Debido a su ubicación llegaremos a hermosas vistas sobre el mar.
Not the easiest restaurant to find (you won't stumble across it! , but recommended by our hosts in Los Barrios and so glad we made the effort to track it down. Particularly recommended was the house speciality, a massively flavoursome fish stew, we visited a second time and ordered ahead for the Paella gorgeous!
