Al Barretto - Reserva de mesa

Al Barretto is a wonderful small café in Cologne's Sülz district. As Cologne is to Italians what Berlin is to the Turkish one can and does expect an authentically Italian experience at a place like this and gets it. Espresso is very good, as are the panini and other Italian nibbles on offer at a very fair price. That also helps erase memories of occasionally very slow and forgetful service... When in Cologne I usually try and cram in breakfast at Al Barretto at some point. I urge you to do the same. And bring some time.

Has an extremely tasty daily changing selection of homemade cakes. In addition, teas, Italian coffee or in the evening Italian spies, daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Very recommended!

Nice cosy place friendly staff. Very sexy waitresses but the lady that makes the cakes will set your heart to pumping.
