I have gone several times into the al capone and now I can draw a clear conclusion: fantastic vintage retro italo-American flair of the 20s/30s, according to the restaurant name. luxuriant offer of Italian food, from pasta to pizza, to have everything. the crème de la crèma however form the different types of meat. from horse to pig to bark everything is there. must be, yes, a steakhouse. I can remember as if it was yesterday when I was there the first time and ordered me a neat piece of bark fillet on the hot stone. a tight! the already caramelized and inward still pink rindfilet, simply seasoned with coarse salt, whole pfeffer grains and rosmarin branches, crumbled on the tonnge as butter in the hot sun. Paired with rosmarink-pearing and 3 different sauces for rounding off. for the acid the attached pineapples. just perfect! summa summarum can be said that simply the concept is right. wonderful vintage ambiente paired with defigen meat. a must for every meat connaiseur.
