Overcharged overpriced. As it was my birthday, I promised my colleagues I would get them some nice baklava as a treat. I used Alaturka before the owner Ibrahim was very polite and professional to buy baklava, which was ordered beforehand as it’s made in Birmingham and it was simply delicious and rightly priced. Today Ibrahim was not there so I asked one of the gentleman working there, if I could buy a tray of baklava. He said they have them ready in the back and he only needs to add the pistachios on top. My daughter and I decided to have dinner at this restaurant after hearing that their Doner meat is made with fresh meat and not the typical low-quality parts. We were pleasantly surprised. We paid £8 each for a complete meal including a drink, salad, and 2 dips each. I opted for the mixed meat donor while my daughter chose chicken. The meal also came with a side of chips and everything was delicious.
I cannot praise this place enough. The food is lovely and Turkish Maras ice cream is very nice. Ayran is fresh and authentic tasting and the place is clean. People really friendly. Yes it's slightly expensive if you compare to other places but it's authentic and I guess you pay for that.
Tried here for the first time today and I wasn’t disappointed, opted for the elite meal but the portions are huge so would opt for deluxe next time. The salad came separate and was so fresh. I think I have just found out new place to visit for a kebab

The food is consistently excellent, the service is wonderful, and the staff are always polite! It's so refreshing to find a place with great service where the staff truly listen to your preferences. This is my favorite restaurant! Thank you all.
We tried the family special at this restaurant and it was a great value for the price, with generous portion sizes. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of food we received when it arrived! The kebab was especially delicious and juicy.
I have been in Istanbul in the past and this restaurant tastes very similar to what I remember. A pleasant surprise, for its rating I didn't expect the food to be so good! Very good value for money too. Will definitely visit again.
I've eaten here several times now and the service is always prompt and friendly and the food is simply delicious. Maybe a little pricey but always enjoyable.

Very good Turkish food: tasty meat , fresh salad and delicious bread. Not to mention the desserts. We will come back for sure !
