even though set in a strip ball, they cannot be fooled by the situation. this sweet little restaurant seems to be family owned and more important authentic. surprisingly limited wine selection (no chianti in an Italian restaurant? they made more than with food. my fellow worker had the veal parmesan and said it was the best calf she had ever had. I had the penne taormina (eggplant, Fontina cheese and penne with tomato sauce) that was for to die. the sauce was perfect. were huge and it was accompanied with a large salad. yum!

I travel a lot and don't make chains to find such great places. no bar, but they let me sit in front and have a glass of wine while waiting for an order. owner was very friendly and gave me a pasta cooking recipe during the waiting. I went to dinner with his suggestion and eating was great. a must try when in the opposite.

great Italian restaurant. we eat every week where we are in town. gnocchi is fabulous. country style huhn is too good to be true!
