Aldo’s Pizza Pies Downtown

Good food but misleading pricing, so know before you go! We were hungry vegetarians from out of town looking for a place to eat in carnivorous Memphis, so we chose Aldo 's because we knew we could find something to eat in a pizza place. The place was comfortable, the service was fine, and the food was good. However, the bill was somewhat surprising when it arrived. I expected the 20% automatic service charge, only because I happened to see a sign on the front counter stating this charge. There was another 20% gratuity charge on the bill also, but one of the staff members explained that it was a mistake and it was not added into my charge. Honestly one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time! Everything about it was good. Be warned...the 18 pizza is big! I could not finish it. But not for lack of want or trying. I had it delivered to my hotel andnit was hot and perfect. I ordereda salad as well. Whe. I got my order there was no salad. The receipt had a hand written note that said they were out of Lettuceso the refunded me the price of the salad. I was bummed but how cool they wrote an note. Definitely will order again if I makeit back to Memphis! And I strongly recommend to anyone passing through!

The pizzas were great. Caesar salad fresh. Our server was excellent. I wish I had gotten her name. (She was wearing some really cute glasses) We sat on the patio and I must say it was very nice. The pizza dough on the trays for the children to play withwhile we wait for our pies is a brilliant idea. My 4 yr old granddaughter loved it and that was just the trick to keep heroccupied. I will definitely return next time I visit Memphis.

After a long day of walking on the Big River trails, we stopped here for some pizza and beer. The staff was super friendly and the pizza was just awesome. Huge, floppy New York style slices with great sauce and toppings. Definitely worth a visit if you'redowntown. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great place to eat very friendly staff, enjoyed watching them make the pizza dough, they even gave my kids pizza dough to play with while we waited on our pizza. Food was great and the restaurant was very clean

The margherita pizza was decent, but nothing extraordinary. The door was quite difficult to open because of the wind. I went there just for pickup, but I found the staff to be friendly, pleasant, and courteous.

The food was simply delectable. I ordered a house salad, small and a 12-inch Pizza which is more than enough for two people. The pizza was made fresh and very flavorful. I will definitely be trying them again.
