Alev Mediterranean Grill

My BFF and I decided to try this gem of a restaurant. We are middle eastern ourselves, so we have certain expectations of how this type of food should taste. We were blown away by every dish, right down to the hummus, which you can find every where these days. The chef is an exceptional food artist. The atmosphere was quiet and very nice. It’s a family owned and operated business and Tulin, (our server) and her sister were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be visiting this place again!

A Hidden Gem! The food here is outstanding. Our group of four ordered a variety of dishes, and each of us tried everything. Every dish was equally delicious and highly recommendable. Tulin, Gina, Tarik, and Sam were fantastic hosts—friendly, personable, and professional. Alev is definitely a must-visit dining experience. Thank you for hosting us! We’ll definitely be back. This is the best filet mignon shish kebab I've ever had in New Jersey. The menu offers something for everyone. If you're a meat lover, you must try their lamb chops and filet mignon shish kebab. For those who prefer fish, the salmon and branzino are always cooked to perfection with a crispy finish. Forget about the overpriced Cheesecake Factory; even the desserts here are homemade! Be sure to try their Turkish custard—it's a must!

Adana Kebab is outstanding! The kebabs are juicy, flavorful, and simply melt in your mouth. You can't go wrong pairing it with the Shepherd's Salad, and the cold appetizers are incredible. Even the rice is incredibly fluffy and tasty; I could happily eat just that as a meal. One day, I’ll make sure to save room for dessert, but the food is so delicious that I always end up too full to enjoy it! Reserva una mesa ahora

Had a wonderful dinner on a Friday night. Although slightly busy, my friend and I had a great experience with the kind staff, attractive decor, delicious food, and reasonable prices. I was especially impressed with the excellent seasoning on the meat and was happy to have leftovers the next day.

Service and food was wonderful cute little place. I stopped in for lunch and did one of their lunch specials which was the perfect amount of food. Food was fresh came out quick. I'll definitely be back again and you should give it a try too.

Sitting in the parking lot eating the falafel pita sandwich and just had to give a review. 10/10, it’s SO good. And they unexpectedly brought it out to the car when it was ready, which was much appreciated. Definitely will be back.

the food isn’t bad, just average. the rice was a bit bland and too oily. the chicken was fine and so was the falafel. the portions are on the smaller side and it was a bit pricey. staff was very friendly though. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is a cute and cozy resturaunt. The staff is very friendly and the service was good. The food was delicious and fresh. I took my daughter to this place and she was delighted with the experience.

Our most favorite Mediterranean cuisine place in NJ! The food is consistently delicious and the food portions are amazingly large. I have never had hummus so good anywhere else. -Mayank Patty
