Reading their reviews we decided to get dinner from there. We got 2 beef gyros and lamb chops for $66. It was the worst food we have ever eaten. I don’t like to complain as I understand there is a huge shortage of restaurant staff these days and we should all be more patient and considerate. But this was simply unacceptable food that neither of us could eat and we actually went to bed hungry!! The meat was so chewy and hard like you are chewing on rubber. I called the restaurant today before putting in a review and all they said was thanks for letting us know. How does that make anything right? I asked for the manager to call me back. Let’s see if he does.
I really enjoyed the ambiance and service at this restaurant; it’s well-kept and the staff are very friendly. For lunch, I had the chicken shish kebab as a special. The lentil soup was warm and flavorful, while the shepherd salad was decent, although it had quite a few large chunks of tomato and not enough cucumber. Warm bread was served alongside the meal. The kebab was truly the highlight, accompanied by white rice. I would have loved to see a couple more grilled vegetables, like green pepper or eggplant, as there was only a grilled tomato. The coffee was excellent—definitely the best part of the meal!
I've been ordering from this restaurant for a while, and I apologize for the late review. At first glance, the quality, taste, presentation, and value might not stand out, but don't be fooled. This place offers top-notch, sophisticated ethnic cuisine typically found in big cities, all in a humble suburban setting — and at prices that deliver incredible value. We ordered for four big eaters: three mixed grills, one mixed appetizer platter, and four lentil soups, which provided enough delicious food to feed two more people at home. And by the way, the lamb kebab is pure magic!
My best friend and I decided to check out this hidden gem of a restaurant. Being in the Middle East, we have specific expectations for how this type of cuisine should taste, and this place exceeded them. Every dish we tried was incredible, even the hummus, which can be found almost everywhere these days. The chef is truly an exceptional culinary artist. The ambiance was serene and beautifully crafted. It's a family-run establishment, and our server, Tulin, along with her sister, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return to this place soon!

Really great Donner sandwiches aka gyro. Really brought back memories of my travels overseas. The only thing missing was the grease! In Europe this sandwich is often dripping with grease and it all seems to work. I get the healthy version here in the states so I'm not knocking it as it was still an awesome sandwich! The other items we had, Kosta, lentil soup etc were also on point so we will be ordering again soon for sure!
The lamb chop entree was incredible, complemented by their fantastic side dishes. My parents have dined here twice before, and each experience has been delightful. The staff is incredibly accommodating and kind, creating a genuine family atmosphere. I would definitely return anytime I'm in the area.
Tried this restaurant last night. I wouldn't say it's exceptional. If you're in the area and this is the closest, go for it. A little pricey. I ordered the gyro, kibbeh, and baklava and all were tasty. Like I said, overpriced. I'd go to Paterson/Clifton and gotten more.
I just sat in the parking lot enjoying the falafel pita sandwich, and I had to leave a review. It’s a perfect 10/10—absolutely delicious! I also appreciated that they unexpectedly brought it out to my car when it was ready. I’ll definitely be coming back!
