Yesterday we were at ALEX actually I would forgive 5 stars. However, the first waiter apparently had no interest in receiving our orders. After he had easily spilled my drink over my pants and had apparently not noticed this, he no longer came back to us for a food order. Only when we spoke to another waiter was the visit turned off by a Fiasko. The food was tasty and until one waiter were all friendly.
Alex Restaurants are included in the Amex Dining Promotion. I’ve visited multiple locations and they’ve always been really good. Unfortunately the one in Leipzig doesn’t seem to be very customer focused. Also there is NO air conditioning inside the restaurant on a hot summers day. The customer service is far to be desired. Basically extremely rude and not focused on the customer.
A super fun place with a great atmosphere, nice food and the best cocktails in town. The service was nice and efficient. ALEX also has a Sunday brunch option, I hope to try it on my next visit.

The food was delicious, the drinks were good! You've got a nice free seat, but it's pretty inside too! Toilets are well maintained!
Super staff friendly, unobtrusive the guest never lost sight. Caughty questions, eat well. Ambience very beautiful.
Awesome plum sundae and nice service. Three kinds of steak with three different potato. With English menu.
