the alex is better suited for people who only want to have a nice evening and then don't want to visit any more discotheque. there are no music and no special lighting. it simply invites to join and not to drink (my opinion about .it also does not exist a smoker area. the quality of eating and drinking is very good, but the prices are also high. the personal is always friendly and not negative.

came here to dinner to explore my new neighbourship. but this place looked good. the service was friendly and welcoming, but the service was really slow and let us wait forever until we could order. eating was at best mediocre. my pasta was almost cold and not seasoned enough, while the fish at the top was too much cooked and therefore hard and dry. will not be coming back here.

Alex is chain hot there are more in different cities. have let me go because there was carving. are okay, but not good carving headers and not big carving headers. because that has done beautifully in there and you can sit well there. drinks could be cheaper, but go. Doesn't it know if there is?

Very nice quiet in central location. Alex, near Berlin Square, can be reached directly by public transport, from Berlin's place stop there are only a few meters. Breakfast is highly recommended,for only €9.30 you will get a balanced breakfast buffet. The service and cleanliness are exemplary.

typical caffe of the alex chain operator. nothing unusual, just a normal caffe with friendly service. the breakfast buffet is as averaged as the price. location and interieur is very nice for ludwigshafener conditions.
