on 05.05.2017 I had a table reserved to breakfast here on my free day with my child. we arrived at alex against 9.15 clock and almost all tables were occupied. we were standing at the counter, because we couldn't know which table was for us. more than 10 minutes we were not considered by any of the waiters at all, then the oldest of the services (from about 3 m distance) arrived at us: "can I do something for you?". I answered that we had ordered and sought our table. he started me, cried: "I don't understand a word" turned around and read us standing. we were absolutely shocked about such a bad thing. we left the facility and went somewhere else breakfast. meanwhile I have told the incident...
Da Pfingsten war hatten wir einen Sonntagsbrunch . Das Personal war freundlich. Wie immer war alles bis zum letzten Platz ausgebucht und wir fanden draussen noch ein Plätzchen. Das Büffet war Riesig und man fast vor Auswahl einwenig überfordert. Es gibt dort alles was das Herz begehrt Von der Vorspeise zum Haupgang zum Dessert alles war da . Einziger Kritkpunkt Wir fanden schade das nur gerade 1 Getränk nach Wahl dabei war. Mindest ein Kaffe und ein Orangejus müsste dabei sein. Auch frische Früchte hätten wir uns mehr gewünscht...Trauben etc. Haben dann die Deko weggefuttert . Ansonsten war Preis Leistung mit 20 Euro für Brunch exkl. Getränke okay .
Das Alex ist ein Restaurant, das immer wieder einen Besuch wert ist. Innen wie außen gibt es ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die umfangreichen Speise- und Getränkekarten lassen kaum einen Wunsch offen. Das Ambiente ist wirklich toll. Überall gibt es detailleverliebte Dekorationen mit einem unikaten Flair (sofern man bei einem Franchiseunternehmen davon sprechen kann). Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Das Körbchen Pommes-frites auf dem beigefügten Bild hat 4,50 € gekostet. Eine normalen Kaffee gibt es für 3,50 €.
Ein sehr schönes Local, mit sehr freundlichen Servicekräften und leckeren Angeboten. Dort haben wir uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und unser bestelltes Getränk und Essen schmecken lassen. Das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend, im Hintergrund läuft Musik und der Service ist auf zack.

we have always liked to go there at study times. the alex, beautifully located directly on the main market, offers all meals, from breakfast buffet, lunch, cake, dinner, small snacks to zig types of drinks. You can also sit outside. Large yellow sunshades are also ready.
modern furnished fresh restaurant. we grow up atebeef and roast Indian stew, very tasty and to reasonable praise. there is a children's menu and the children got a paintbook and pencils. helpful and friendly staff, speaks well English. recommended!
Das Essen war super. Ist für jeden was dabei und die Getränke waren genauso gut man hat viel Auswahl. Auch die Ausstattung sowie Dekorationen waren sehr toll. Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Einfach super toll. Würde es 100% weiterempfehlen
Stopped by to have a coffee, sat outside and enjoyed watching the world go by ! Price is as expected, didn't have anything to eat but the portion sizes of what other people were ordering looked good. Service was efficient and friendly.

Bei einem Stadtbummel eine kleine Pause eingelegt. Gemütliches sitzen im Außenbereich bei gutem Essen. Empfehle den Blaubeer Eistee- war erfrischend und lecker. Personal sehr flink und freundlich. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.
