Alexander's Fish And Chips

We holiday in mudeford every year for the last 18yrs, always go to Alexander’s for fish and chips, however this visit to this chip shop was the last, we spent £56 and majority of the food went in the bin, we had fish and chips, large fish, which was mostly batter and what fish there was it was on the turn the smell of ammonia was strong, it definitely was not fresh and the chips where scabby and bitty not nice at all, please don’t waste your money there is much better in the area , what a shame as it use to be a nice chippy

Read the 1 star reviews. Yes, chips are reheated/refried. Bag of bits rather than any proper chips. Orientalist woman quite rude and miserable. Young boy taking orders is robotic/AI and is lacking. Quite terrible food. Happy not to have purchased anything else. There are good Fish Chip shops around. But certainly NOT this one. Don’t be fooled by false reviews.

I visited this chip shop again as it has a great friendly service. The food is out of this world. Fabulous fish, chips, spam fritters and savloys. The food was freshly cooked and decent size portions of chips. I am definitely visiting again and absolutely recommend a visit to try this great value for money food.

The fresh cod had big chunks of fish and a light batter. The curry sauce was tangy. The chips could have been a bit crispier as they stuck together in the bag. The price of £14.90 for a large fish and chips with curry sauce was a little high. Overall, I would rate it an 8 out of 10. Reserva una mesa ahora

The fish and chips at this restaurant are excellent, freshly prepared upon ordering. The staff is friendly. While it may not be cheap, the portion size, quality, and taste make it a great value.

Went to order at around 6.00pm on a Wednesday evening and had to wait around twenty minutes or so, but it was worth it. The quality of the food was excellent and the portions more than adequate.

Yummy! It's definitely worth waiting for, even during busy times. Don't let the wait discourage you. We always enjoy getting our fish and chips and enjoying them by the sea at Mudeford.

This evening I purchased a family meal from the chip shop the food was amazing I have never tasted fish and chips as good as this thank you so much for a wonderful eating experience

Not as good as previous visits, the fish was Ok but the chips looked and tasted like they were yesterday's cooked again!
