This place is such a cool and eclectic spot, and I'm really surprised that I hadn't heard of it until my friend brought me here! Upon arriving to what felt like a cabin in the woods, this diner housed a really blended bunch of different people. Rather than just the usual gaggle of techies in their Patagonia vests that I'm used to being around 24/7, I saw groups of families, youngins on dates, luxury car enthusiasts, and groups of bikers all mixed in across the sea of picnic tables here. If you 're in the area after a hike or a bike ride, Alice makes a great place to grab a bite. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and is pretty casual. There is no wait service so you 'll need to order at the front counter. But the food may need to be picked up (via remote pagers) or be delivered to you depending on how busy it is. The lines have gotten longer over the years and during my last visit, it was a good 15 minutes in line before ordering. This restaurant is amazing. I make the trip up here on my motorcycle from Soquel a couple of times a year, and sometimes bring my wife along for the ride. It's a well-known spot with delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere. The drive up here is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth it. But let's keep this place our little secret among the locals.
Always reliable! Good beer and drinks. But I come for the pulled pork and brisket. Off hours the line is not usually long, but always worth it even if it is!

Super yummy tuna melt. Great enviorment and space. Great service. Very attentive and kind staff. Overpriced. Love Alice's and will forever rave about them!
