We came here for dinner recently and I was so disappointed with so many aspects of a restaurant that really seemed like they were going to be great. First off, one of our party was running late that was on us, however the restaurant was NOT busy in the slightest, so the fact that our server was a bit testy about it and refused to answer any questions or explain anything about the menu until our full party was present just rude, given that we could have been making decisions to expedite the ordering process while our last member arrived. So that was the first problem. The second problem was that the menu is meant to be a tasting menu, lots of small plates to share that sounds nice, yeah? Exce...

I really wanted to like this place but their food was a letdown. I love the location and the aesthetic vibe of this restaurant. With the outdoor seating and stone-brick walls, this place is tucked behind an alleyway that feels a bit like a hidden gem. Service also deserves its own star. However, the food was bland. They tried to spin up some novelty dishes such as popcorn-chicken-spice fish sticks and tuna poke-mole (guacamole). But what I really wanted to ask was if the chef tasted the dishes before bringing it out, because they tasted like nothing. Fish itself already doesn't have any strong flavor to it, so if you're going to dress it up, at least put some spices or salt into the batter (...

When it comes to dining out, nothing beats the combo of tasty food, impeccable service, and a picturesque setting. That's exactly what we discovered at this charming gem in Alameda. Celebrating my dad's birthday, we were welcomed by an attentive staff and a beautiful view of a flower filled alleyway. We sipped refreshing carrot juice and an exotic piña colada mocktail, kick starting our feast. The small plates stole the show fluffy milk bread with silky umami butter, a vibrant gem salad, and the highlight, spicy, juicy Korean fried chicken. We also sampled steak and whole fish delectable but the starters really set the bar high. The staff made our evening, attentive to every detail and makin...

Let me tell you, if you're in the mood for a delicious dessert, this is definitely the place to visit. In addition to a fantastic wine selection, their cocktail bar features an impressive array of sweet treats to round off your meal. I stopped by just to satisfy my sweet tooth, and we were delighted by the many ice cream and cake options available. We also enjoyed our favorite drinks and left feeling very satisfied. I would happily return to experience the full dining experience.

Alley and vine really good. It's one of the few places on Park St. that I think consistently does not disappoint. Last time I was there I had the Prawn Bread appatizer which was AMAZING!! For a cocktail, I had a mushroom infused old fashioned which was actually really tasty. The pork chop was good but not as good as the pork chop on their old menu a bit underwhelming flavor wise. But the side of beans was delicious. It's pricey and just about worth the price in my stingy opinion.

Tell you what, if you ever decide to grab a good dessert, this might be the place. Along with the good wine selection and excellent cocktail bar displays offers a wide variety of sweet goodies to complete your dinner. I dropped by just to please our sweet tooth, and we were pleasantly surprised with multiple ice cream and cake choices. Along with that we got our favorite drinks and left as pleased as we could be. I would gladly be back for the complete meal experience.

Perhaps one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Every dish I ordered was delicate, yet potent and extremely fresh. Small plates are light yet filling just scrumptious. Plus, every staff member I encountered was wonderfully friendly, especially my server, Benjamin. My advice: sit outside, facing Park St, and time your reservation for sunset. Golden hour persists throughout your golden meal. I’ll definitely be back for more! Thank you to the entire staff Reserva una mesa ahora

We've wanted to try this gorgeous spot and are very happy we finally did. To start, the service is impressive and attentive. The cocktails are very well done and the food is delicious. We tried small plates and enjoyed the oysters rockefeller, mussels, and potatoes. The serving of mussels is generous and the broth is so tasty we needed more bread to soak it all up. The desserts are also incredible. Give this Alameda gem a try, you will enjoy.
