This restaurant is very humble and easy to miss if you are not paying attention. However, if you like Middle Eastern food, it is worth making the effort to visit. We got the lamb gyro and a lamb wrap for a quick snack, and also bought some pantry items. The meat was flavorful and the pickles and sauce complemented it well. In addition, the prices are fair and the service is friendly. Just note that they open at 2:30pm if you are planning to go for lunch. Overall, it is a local spot that I would definitely recommend supporting.

ALWAYS AWESOME! My faves: Chicken with rice (sauce on the side) and Lamb with Rice for my husband. He also loves the gyro. Also, the hummus is the BEST! I always get some to go. I've been going to Almadinah for 4 years and they never disappoint! And the store owner is just the nicest guy, always helpful and service with a smile. I only wish I lived closer!

So freaking good! I just had the beef and lamb gyro wrap and it was spectacular! Better than I remember my last nyc gyro. Got the red and the white sause with some extra on the side. Huge portion for the price and tastes so good. Will be ordering again and again and again. I suggest you do too! Bonus, traditional baclava was great.

I have ordered from here many times and it's always delicious. I have recently turned to a vegan diet and what I ordered today which was the falafel on rice with hot sauce and white sauce was freaking awesome! The food is always fresh which I appreciate and as a result I can recommend with no hesitation! Reserva una mesa ahora

No matter how I place my order - online, over the phone, or in person - the service at Almandinah is excellent and the food is delicious. Having grown up eating in Brooklyn's Atlantic Avenue, I can confidently say that the food here is just as good, if not better. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Best Falafels I've had in Westchester/Putnam area!! Crispy outside but warm and fluffy inside. Great Price!!! Tahini Sauce that comes with them is terrific- wish I could have more of it!

Best Halal outside NYC. Great price, super quick, friendliest people ever. The Missus makes Baklava to die for. Cool groceries, snacks, hookah stuff, just awesome. 10/5 stars
