The beautiful women in the back really enjoy what they do because the food is the best soul food I have ever had while living in Los Angeles for 5 years. The staff is really respectable take direction to the orders very well. Always nice and clean, well sanitized restaurant and environment inside. The pastries are also very delicious once you try this restaurant out I guarantee you will never go back to Dulans again. They are 1000 times better. The food is fresh and actually taste like they are supposed to taste much better than your expectations not slop. No money ever wasted. Btw this picture does no justice for the chicken but the chicken was actually really juicy not tough or too crunchy...

writing this review for the entire city of Compton and my beautiful community!! AVOID this place at all cost, a huge waste of time and money.THE FOOD: the food was so underwhelming and DID NOT FEED THE SOUL, such a scam. The flavors were not there at all and most of their sides were mushy and dusty! The chicken was so hard and tiny too.THE SERVICE: This environment was extremely slow and felt purposely slow! They have slugs in that kitchen chopping it up.Conclusion: This is not real soul food, this is real prison food. My black and brown people please save your coins because this was a joke!!

We were tempted to order the entire menu but had to settle for two entrees and two extra sides. Everything tasted AMAZING. The peach cobbler pancake was the star of the show and the fried chicken was great. Tried the new corn ribs which were bursting with flavor. The mac n cheese was excellent. Shrimp and grits was the second entree and it was lovely. Unfortunately didn't have room for anything in the dessert cabinet but we'll be back to try it all. Can't say enough about this place, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff is so friendly. This place is the whole package.

absolutely the best customer service. I've ever seen that I'm a consumer. my man and I ordered 3 wings dinner, and since it was our first time, the owner gave us extra of everything. excellent part for the price, and it is not expensive. if you have to order her lavender limonade. it's delicious. I'm back when I'm back in town.

Alma need to get the blackboy out the front because he is so rude... this resturant will loose out on alot because of the customer service.. he's offering me a mask because my mask was broke and I told him its fine and he like o well what you want to order? And this is my second time with him being rude

The best restaurant food I have ever had. The desserts ohh my were awesome. They had every kind . From cakes to pies. Both are delicious. We are from Mississippi. And if I could I would come back once a week.
