My husband and I were looking forward to enjoying our meal, when as soon as our food arrived between 8 and 10 flies decended on us. After desperately trying to wave them away, we asked a waiter for assistance. She produced insect spray. We did not want to have poison close to our food and declined. At no time did they offer to move us to a more suitable table indoors, although the restaurant was fairly empty. We ate very fast between waving flies off and asked to speak to the manager in charge. She said it's hot in Marbella and flies are a problem for people ordering fish. It became clear that she was aware of the problem but had no effective way of dealing with this. Her whole attitude was very unprofessional and we left feeling extremely unhappy at having to pay 85 euros for 2 mains that we had to eat way too fast to enjoy.
So disappointed this was our 4th time there but its sadly the last, last time wasn’t brilliant but thought let’s give it another chance, it’s just lost it’s specialness there plus the food has declined, I had cod it was really really salty couldn’t eat it sadly my hubby had ribs he only eat the meat I just hope it gets back to when we first went there a couple of years ago it’s not cheap so you do expect better quality of food.
We visited this restaurant many times and we enjoyed it a lot . They were very busy but still the food was deliciously served and the service was excellent. I recommend the king prawns sizzling diablo style and crispy duck. I will order it over and over again. And of course never forgot the refreshing and good taste cocktails. Must try their signature cocktail Aloha Mule . We will definitely coming back.
