Alpenblick - Reservar una mesa

We stopped in Kandersteg for lunch en route between the Valais and the lake of Luzern. Two grandparents, mother and her two small children. We were looking for something simple with things that the children would eat (difficult that!) and the Alpenblick was on our way. We were greeted warmly and without asking the waitress immediately brought colouring books and pencils for the children. Much appreciated!!Food was simple and tasty. The Rösti was delicious. Additional syrop was brought for the children without our asking for it. (Children drink syrop grenadine and water...) The price was moderate - good lunch, drinks, coffees for under 100frs.Next time we take the car-train to Kandersteg we will stop there again.

Small restaurant on the main street, well located, with wonderful personal service. Nice selection on menu. Several times per month in the evening there very authentic music and yodeling.

Had a really, really nice dinner at the Alpenblick which was just located next to our hotel. Food was really nice, great wine menu, and really, really nice & local staff!

Good food exemplified by having rösti and beer for CHF 21. (Many daily menus advertised in the area were about 20/CHF) Staff was very attentive.
